My Story
Arrow Black
In 1997, a childhood dream officially became a career when I graduated from the Dog Grooming School of Victoria, became a certified obedience trainer and began what would become a lifelong commitment to animal rescue. Not long afterward I opened my own commercial grooming salon.
Today, poodle grooming remains at the heart of what I do. I groom professionally, work as a groomer and handler across advertising, media and film, run DIY Workshops and Private Classes, and create DIY poodle grooming videos to help poodle owners around the world learn to groom their own dogs with confidence.
I’ve trained professional groomers, breeders, show exhibitors, competition groomers and pet owners in a variety of settings across Australia, qualified as a Creative Grooming Master, and completed two sold-out Australian training tours.
My mission and vision
My mission is to educate the global poodle community in a professional, non-competitive, and dog focused manner, with ethics at the heart of everything I do.
Through education, rescue, and breed welfare advocacy, I strive to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of poodles everywhere.
Alongside grooming and education, animal rescue and rehabilitation has remained a huge part of my life — with more animals helped along the way than I could ever count.
Rescue
I am proud to support poodles in recognised rescue programs by providing complimentary grooming services, promotional assistance, and fundraising opportunities to help improve their chances of finding safe and loving homes.
